Miss Filipina International Tourism Promotion Trip a Rousing Success

(LOS ANGELES - November 14, 2019) Fresh from its recently completed tourism promotion trip to the Philippines, the organizers of Miss Filipina International recently announced its successful conclusion, after highlighting some of the top tourism destinations in the Bicol region, Manila and the National Capital Region, and Corregidor Island in Cavite Province.

Miss Filipina International 2019 CheyAnne Knight led this year’s delegation, along with Miss Filipina International - Tourism Keisha Abelgas and Miss Filipina Teen International Thereze Dacanay.  These young tourism ambassadors were happy to fully immerse themselves in this once-in-a-lifetime cultural experience, from the spicy and delectable Bicol cuisine, to meeting local dignitaries and courtesy visits to its Official Airline Partner, Philippine Airlines.  The historic Manila Hotel and Valero Grand Suites by Swiss-Belhotel are the Official Residences of the MFI titleholders during their stay in Manila.

Included in this year’s itinerary was a visit to the ruins of Cagsawa Church in Daraga, Albay, and a thrilling ATV ride to the world’s most perfect cone volcano, Mount Mayon.  The ladies were fortunate to have the weather cooperate with their schedule, as they were blessed with the opportunity to have an unobstructed view of Mount Mayon in all of its glory.  Also among this year’s highlights were visits to the historical sites in and around Manila, including Fort Santiago in Intramuros, and Corregidor Island, the monument to wartime heroism, and many other sites.

The MFI titleholders spent much of their time meeting corporate and government dignitaries during their stay, the highlight of which was meeting with newly installed Mayor of Manila, Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso.

At the conclusion of the trip, this year’s titleholders felt well-prepared to represent themselves as tourism ambassadors to their peers.  Preparations for next year’s pageant are already underway, and more than 20 candidates have already committed to compete in next year’s pageant, well before the official registration period even begins.  Young ladies from the ages of 13-17 are encouraged to contact Insider Entertainment Group to join the Teen competition, while ladies from 17-28 are urged to act now to join the Miss category.  JOIN NOW!  “Your Destiny Awaits!”
